Class

I stand by my last post. It is definately harder to prepare a lesson plan with a group than it is to do it with just one person. It was a good activity for me I guess to learn how to better work with groups - there's just so many different ideas, things to do, etc.

I am excited for our lesson on thursday but i think it will be very interesting to see how all the parts mesh together - and I think we are all going to be surprised at how fast one hour goes. I know in my experience at the MTC that time flies - one good activity with a little instruction will easily take up an hour.

Lesson Plan

Today's class was interesting. I think it is much harder to prepare a lesson outline with multiple people than it is for me to do it by myself. I think it was also interesting to see how time constraints affected what we were able to do. I think that you could do some awesome things if you were given a whole semester to explore some of the cool things that have to do with technology.

All in all I think it got me more excited than anything to teach. How cool will it be when you can take a class and start small - using the whole semester to build up to one sweet project?!

Planning can be annoying at times, hard, and time-consuming but it is so vital. A little frustration now saves loads of heartache later.
